While music can provide a number of therapeutic benefits to anyone, it is particularly helpful for those overcoming addiction. Music can help purge destructive emotions, reduce stress, and anxiety, and encourages relaxation.
There is no single right or wrong way to participate in Recovery Out Loud and no skills are necessary! With regular jam sessions, music education, and more, our weekly group offers a powerful source for healing and sober community connection. All musical instruments or supplies are provided, and advance registration is encouraged.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION –
- Classes are free to one and all!
- The only requirement is 24 hours of clean/sober time.
- We request that first time participants arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class to get registered into our system.
- Reservation is not required to participate.

Jason got sober August 28th, 2019 and after a lot of work to become stable and maintain his own sobriety.
Jason discovered that he wanted to support others in their recovery. Jason runs self reflection and socialization recovery groups within and outside of Hazelbrook Community, with music being his specialization.
Jason is understanding, patient, honest and a man of integrity, dedicated to connecting individuals to new communities and themselves to support their sobriety and ability to grow as individuals.
